Film plot

This film is much more than the story about Radovan Karadžić, this is the presentation of medieval rites through which Serbian nationalism, born after the fall of communism, re-expressed itself. Its war characteristic is well known, however, Pawlikowski managed to cover less know rites and symbolical aspects. "Serbian Epics" goes beyond the framework of usual war portraits. This is the documentary dealing with one topic from anthropological point of view rather than journalistic one.
