Film plot
Jamal, twelve-year old Moslem Pakistani mistakenly crossed border between India and Pakistan, where he met a strange ally Bhola in Hinda Brahmin. Indian soldiers invade Bhola's village looking for »terrorist« who has crossed the border. His cousin Rani thinks that they may not let a Moslem in their Hindu house. Bholo and Rani face the problem of hiding Pakistani, and their deep belief against the Moslems, and Jamal's only hope is humanity between the people divided by a superficial border many years ago.
The film is based on true story. In early 2003 a Pakistani boy mistakenly crossed Indian-Pakistani border. Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee returned the boy to his family in Pakistan, which was the beginning of tensions between these two nuclear countries, which have, for a year, been at the verge of war.
