Film plot

"The Erased" is a moving story about the destiny of 18,305 people who lost all their civil rights over night: IDs, driving licenses and passports. Over night they have been erased, as were their marriages, children, firms, businesses and lives. For the state, they ceased to exist. They lost their civil rights because of their "southern" origin. The film covers the stories of "the erased people", their struggle to regain basic human rights which the most advanced former Yugoslav republic - Slovenia - did not recognize even after joining EU.
