Vlado Dencov was born in Kriva Palanka, Macedonia in 1955. He graduated from the Drama and Film Academy in Skopje in 1980. He directed over 60 documentary films and over 20 plays. Both at the "BAR 2001" Film Festival, and at the 2002 Film Festival in Poland he was rewarded for his film "Miško". He is employed with the Macedonian State Television as film director.
