Catalogue of the First Edition of the VIVISECTfest

Catalogue of the First Edition of theFestival on Human Rights – VIVISECTfest is dedicated to the topic "War in the Former Yugoslavia – View from Inside and Outside" and is printed in Serbian and English.

Printing of the Catalogue of the First Edition of the Festival on Human Rights – VIVISECTfest was supported by the Stability Pact for SEE with the funds of the German Government. 

The Catalogue deals with the horrors of the war conflicts in the territory of the former Yugoslavia in the last decade of the 20th century. It comprises the following thematic entities:

1. Exhibition of photographs "War in the Former Yugoslavia – View from Inside and Outside" shot by photojournalists from the territory of the former Yugoslavia and abroad: Darko Bandić, Martin Candir, David I. Gross, Diego A. Gomez, Boris Grdanoski, Ron Haviv, Visar Kryeziu, Danilo Krstanović, Gary Knight, Borut Krajnc, Paul Lowe, Massimo Sciacca, Tone Stojko, Andrew Testa and Barbara Čeferin. In the Catalogue are published all photographs (a total of 90) which make the exhibition “War in the Former Yugoslavia – an Inside/Outside View", together with short biographies of their authors.

2. Film review dedicated to the topic "War in the Former Yugoslavia – View from Inside and Outside" comprises selected  19 documentaries made by the authors from the territory of the Former Yugoslavia and abroad: Koča Pavlović - War for Peace; Fade In –  Growing up of the 'V' Generation; Šahin Šišić –  The Planet Sarajevo; Maja Weiss –  The Balkan Gunfighters and The Road of Fraternity and Unity;  Nenad Puhovski – Pavilion 22; Janko Baljak – The Anatomy of Pain; Dan Reed – The Valley; Jody Barrett, Maria Mok, Maasja Ooms –  Kosovo/a;  Vlado Dencov – The Long Straight Furrow; Marija Gajicki – Vivisect ; Helena Koder –  Refugee Centre; Ivan Andrijanić and Ivan Stefanović –  When You Burn, Burn It Better; Sead and Nihad Kreševljaković, Nedim Alikadić–  Do You Remember Sarajevo?; Franci Slak – The Birth of a  Nation; Dubravko Badalić – There Were We Departed;  Igor Zupe – It's Alive, Laibach Occupied Europe NATO Tour; Aldin Arnautović and Refik Hodžić – Justice Unseen; YII Citaku – Should I Stay or Should I Go.

3. Chronology of the war in the territory of the former Yugoslavia in the period between 1980 and 2005. 

4. Chronology of the Traveling festival on Human Rights – VIVISECTfest organized in 2005 in Inđija, Belgrade, Kikinda, Tuzla, Sombor, Berlin, Bačka Palanka, Novi Bečej and Novi Pazar.

5. Friends and Donors of the Human Rights Festival – VIVISECTfest in 2004 and 2005.
